So we were supposed to be in Chicago at the temple today. We were going to leave around 6 this morning but we woke up to reports of bad snow on the interstate in Indiana and we didn't want to risk it so we went back to sleep. At 8:37 (I would like to take a parenthesis to thank my daughter for sleeping in so late. Because she can read. And she regularly reads blogs. So thanks, Ava) we woke up to this:
And even though my back entrance closet looks like this:
And my half bath is only half done,
the sun was all
and the sky was all:
and the temperature was warm (which I like, but the flora is a little confused).
So we shirked our inside duties and played outside all morning.

It really was a fabulous day to get the cabin fever out of our systems. Clearly:
And we knew that this warm weather wasn't going to last so we brought some green inside. So we can stare at it when the snow comes again. Because, I mean, this is Michigan. The snow will come again.
